1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies can store or transmit identifiers needed for sessions, security, preferences, or measurement.
2. Essential cookies
SpendWindow uses cookies or equivalent session technologies that are necessary to provide account authentication, maintain secure sessions, prevent abuse, and support core product operation. Disabling these technologies can prevent signed-in features from working.
3. First-party acquisition attribution
SpendWindow may use first-party browser storage, such as local storage, to remember how a visitor reached the site. This can include the landing page, an external referrer, campaign parameters, referral codes, and advertising click identifiers supplied in the landing URL. We use this information to understand which acquisition sources lead to account creation and customer relationships.
This first-party attribution storage is not designed to follow visitors across unrelated websites. If a visitor creates a workspace, the stored first-touch and last-touch attribution may be associated with that organization so SpendWindow can measure acquisition performance. Clearing browser site data can remove the browser-side record.
4. Analytics and advertising
SpendWindow does not currently use the public website as a cross-context behavioral advertising platform or describe third-party behavioral advertising cookies as part of the current Service. If we add third-party analytics, retargeting, marketing, or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and add consent or preference controls where required before enabling those technologies.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential session cookies can prevent authentication and other account functionality. Browser privacy signals relating to sale, sharing, or targeted advertising are addressed in Your Privacy Choices.
6. Changes
We will update this Policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies materially changes.
