PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy should be specific enough to be useful.

This Policy explains what information SpendWindow handles, where it comes from, what we do with it, and how individuals can exercise privacy choices.

Last updated September 21, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Doeden Duo LLC, the operator of SpendWindow, handles personal information in connection with our websites, applications, subscriptions, support, business intelligence services, and related communications (the “Service”). It does not govern third-party websites or services that we merely link to.

SpendWindow is primarily a business-to-business service. Some information we process nevertheless identifies or relates to individuals, including customer account users and professionals associated with businesses surfaced in the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account and organization information

We may collect your name, business email address, organization name, role, account identifiers, authentication information maintained by our authentication provider, territory and service preferences, and other information you provide when creating or administering an account.

Subscription and transaction information

When paid billing is enabled, our payment provider may process payment-card and billing information. SpendWindow may receive transaction status, customer identifiers, subscription information, invoice information, and limited billing metadata. We do not need to store full payment-card numbers in the SpendWindow application.

Product activity and customer content

We collect information about how account users use the Service, such as opportunities viewed or saved, workflow status, search/filter choices, reported outcomes, contract values voluntarily recorded by the customer, notes, exports, and configuration choices.

Device, log, attribution and security information

Like most online services, we may process IP address, browser/device information, request timestamps, session information, diagnostics, security events, request identifiers, and similar technical data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service. We may also process first-party acquisition attribution such as landing page, external referrer, campaign parameters, referral codes, and advertising click identifiers included in a landing URL so we can understand how visitors and customers found SpendWindow.

Business and professional intelligence

SpendWindow processes business information from public records, public websites, news and company announcements, property or development sources, and commercial business-data providers. This can include business names, locations, domains, professional names, job titles, business email addresses, business phone numbers, professional profile links, permit/license identifiers, occupancy information, project descriptions, and related business context.

Some public-record information may not be “personal information” under a particular law, while professional contact data can still be regulated personal data in some jurisdictions. We treat applicable privacy rights as a separate question from whether information was publicly available.

Communications

If you contact us, we may retain the message, your contact details, and information reasonably needed to respond, investigate an issue, or maintain a business record.

3. Sources of information

We collect information:

  • directly from account users and customers;
  • automatically from use of the Service and our infrastructure;
  • from public government records and public agency data;
  • from public company websites, press releases, news, property/development sources, and other public web sources;
  • from business contact, enrichment, data, authentication, payment, email, hosting, and other service providers; and
  • from customers when they record business outcomes, notes, or account configuration.

4. Why we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, personalize, secure, and administer accounts and subscriptions;
  • collect, verify, correlate, rank, and deliver business buying-window intelligence;
  • identify relevant professional roles and, where available, business contact information;
  • send transactional messages, alerts, digests, support responses, and service communications;
  • process billing and maintain transaction records when billing is enabled;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, source failures, and product errors;
  • measure source quality, model/scoring performance, customer outcomes, and product reliability;
  • measure which acquisition, referral, and campaign sources result in account creation and customer relationships;
  • improve the Service, including through aggregated or de-identified analysis where appropriate;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and integrity of SpendWindow, our customers, sources, and third parties.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

  • Service providers. Providers supporting hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, email, billing, contact enrichment, security, and other operational functions.
  • Customers. Business intelligence delivered to customers can include public-source business information and professional contact information relevant to an opportunity.
  • Business transactions. Information may be transferred in connection with due diligence, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.
  • Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, or protect rights and safety.

SpendWindow does not currently operate a cross-context behavioral advertising business or use customer account data to target third-party advertising.

Because professional contact information may be delivered to paying customers as part of the intelligence product, some laws may characterize certain transfers as a “sale,” “sharing,” or another regulated disclosure even when the data is business contact information. We provide a suppression/opt-out process through Your Privacy Choices.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for authentication, session management, security, and operation of the Service. We do not currently describe third-party advertising cookies because the current Service is not designed around behavioral advertising. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining business and transaction records, securing accounts, enforcing agreements, resolving disputes, complying with law, and improving source/intelligence quality. Retention can vary by data type and legal obligation.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or retain it in limited backup or audit systems for a period consistent with security, legal, and operational requirements.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Our public Security page describes the current baseline and vulnerability reporting process.

9. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and how applicable law defines our role, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, portability, information about disclosures, or an opt-out from certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or to use an authorized agent.

We also allow professionals to request suppression of their business contact information from SpendWindow customer delivery, subject to legal exceptions and reasonable identity verification.

Instructions are available at Your Privacy Choices. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.

10. California and other U.S. state notices

If a U.S. state privacy law applies to SpendWindow and to your information, we will process covered requests in accordance with that law. The categories described in Sections 2–5 are intended to explain the types of personal information we collect, our sources, purposes, and categories of recipients.

Publicly available government information can be excluded from the definition of personal information under some laws, but that exclusion does not necessarily apply to every professional contact record or every jurisdiction. We do not use the fact that information is public as a blanket reason to ignore applicable privacy rights.

11. Children

SpendWindow is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. Account users must be at least 18.

12. International users

SpendWindow is currently oriented toward United States business intelligence. If you access the Service from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Additional contractual or legal requirements may apply before we intentionally expand into jurisdictions with different privacy regimes.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice as appropriate and update the date shown on this page. We will not make materially inconsistent uses of previously collected personal information without appropriate notice or consent where required by law.

14. Contact us

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@getspendwindow.com. Please include enough information for us to understand the request, but do not send passwords, payment-card information, or other secrets.
